The First Congregational Church has hired Rev. David Graham as their new Interim Minister. After graduating from Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville, CA, Rev. Graham received a Div. 1 basketball scholarship to Oral Roberts University. He has experienced several careers, including high school teacher and professional actor. After graduating from Methodist seminary at Oral Roberts University and receiving his Master of Divinity degree, he founded the Cornerstone Community Church in Brighton, IL and was the founder and host of the nationally syndicated radio spot series “Dad to Dad”.  He has been the pastor of two United Methodist churches, two Congregational churches, two independent Community churches and is the author of five books, including; To Be Like Jesus. He retired from Grace Community Church in Boulder City, Nevada in 2023, and moved to Peoria to be close to family.

Pastor David and his wife, Linda, have been married for 52 years and have 4 children and 17 grandchildren.  He is currently employed by Carle Health as a Hospital Chaplain.
